LMTS ACQUISITION BY NEMO ENGINEERING AS [9 Oct 2009]
LMTS management are very pleased to be able to advise that we have recently completed the sale of the company to Nemo Engineering AS, a Norwegian company specialising in subsea and pipeline products, and associated engineering and fabrication services. Formally announced on 4 November 2009, Land & Marine Technology Systems are now Nemo Offshore Pty Ltd. Certification to AS 4801 and ISO 14001
Nemo Offshore have recently added certification to AS 4801 (Occupational Health & Safety Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) to the ISO 9001 certification that has been in place for some years. This completes the full integration of Nemo's management system, and underlines Nemo's committment to a high level of performance with regard to quality, health, safety and environmental issues in all work undertaken by the company.
Saturation Dive Handling Systems
Nemo Offshore has been actively engaged in the design of portable Saturation Dive Handling Systems, with a total of five systems being designed and fabricated to date, all to Lloyds requirements. Nemo is now engaged in further work with a similar system, as well as recently completing the design of an air dive LARS.
Nemo Offshore Complete Pipeline Integrity Management Projects
Regulator approval has been given to relife seven pipelines operated by a major oil and gas company. The relifing submissions were coordinated by Nemo managing all the associated in-field IMR operations and performing all engineering activities. These included several intelligent pigging campaigns, internal riser inspections, hydrotesting, and ROV and diver inspection and maintenance operations. Nemo Offshore are currently performing similar work on another three pipelines for the same operator.
In another related project, Nemo have also compiled two Pipeline Management Plans, these also gaining recent Regulatory approval.
